Welcome Back!

Hey team,
I hope everyone had a wonderful winter break and a Happy New Year! Our training regiments are all updated on the Team Stans Training Center link (on the top right hand side of main page on our blog). There are 4 different groups you can choose from (depending on fitness level, or what your goal is). Please play on the side of caution (at least in the beginning weeks) in what group you choose... In other words, if you are not sure if you are ready to be in the Advanced group C level but you know you can start out well in the Intermediate, Follow the Intermediate Plan! It is always better to be able to move up a group in week 4- if you are feeling like it is too easy, instead of pushing yourself to sickness or injury.
Also, the times/paces that I have down for the plans are just a guideline. If you are in that group, you should be able to hit around that pace for your runs/workouts. At the same time, do not worry about the pace as much on a long run because that is a day you want to determine your run on "how you feel"... if I am feeling good, i will be hitting that prescribed pace effort, If I am feeling lethargic, I may need to take it slower. The sooner you can learn your body in this way, the better off you will be!
Please note that we will be meeting as a group tomorrow in the Industrial Arts parking lot at 3:00pm for a team photo for the yearbook! I hope we can get many out for this. After the photo, members will be getting their first workout in, so dress to Walk/run!

See you tomorrow!
Joe
