Blood, Sweat, and Baby Bottles

Betsy, Elizabeth and I ran 9 miles in Wissahickon Sunday
morning... it was gorgeous and the temperature was perfect. We are hoping for a repeat performance from the weather and ourselves on race day. Desp
ite a nose bleed, muscle cramps, and a bumble bee assault, we faired well. A thank you to Brunos Restaurant for letting us use their facilities prior to starting... we had no desire to become "real runners". As if there would ever be any question about that anyway. Do real runners put their Gatorade in baby bottles?

We'
re in the final mile TEAM STANS. It feels great : )

  1. Congratulations ladies! I, too, am hoping for a repeat of today's weather on race day! Bets, I am sitting with ice on my feet, ankles, and knees after completing 10 earlier today! That being said, I think we are all more than ready for Broad Street.

  4. Yes, Stacy, ICE. That's what I should have done. Instead I fell asleep.

I agree that we're ready for the race. It's time to run before someone gets hurt.
