This is going to be great!!! Eat and be merry for the next few days, get ready to run run run in January!!!!

Hi Friends,

30 minutes until Xmas vacation and that means 45 minutes until my first run of the vacation with the lovely and talented Joanne Upham and Lisa Roscoe. I'll be the one showing off the legs however as I run year round in shorts. That's where the hairy legs come in handy.

Being a runner for years and sadly a bit on the broken-down side, I'm nevertheless impressed with the spirit and conviction shown by my Sped. friends. It's a very good thing.

I'll be running 5 tomorrow w/ the Supe. and my friend Fiona and probably again Xmas Day. While I can't and don't run as well as I once did I still love it (pain and all) and look forward to running my 20th consecutive Broad Street May 3, 2009. Look forward to all the company this.

Remember to eat well, drink well, and to get outside and earn it over the holiday. You'll feel so much better for it.

Happy Holidays Everyone! I'm looking forward to facing this challenge with all of you. Joe is busy working on the different training schedules. Everyone will have a better idea in a few days exactly how much running/walking will be covered the first two weeks. Be sure to check back regulary for updates!

Welcome to the Team Stans Training and Information Website. This site is dedicated to our good friend Bruce Stansbury, who was a great inspiration and role model for anyone who got to know him. Team Stans is dedicated to raise money in Bruce's name to award a scholarship to a special education student within Council Rock South High School. In the process of raising money for this cause, "Team Stans" will be participating in a training program to get members primed for the 2009 Broad Street 10 miler race on Sunday May 3rd. It is going to be exciting to see everyone coming together in honor of a man who has touched the hearts of so many, none other than Bruce Stansbury.
